Terms of service.

These terms govern use of RankLatch by the person or organization that creates the account.

01

The service

RankLatch is a read-only website monitoring service. It requests public pages, extracts documented technical and on-page signals, stores snapshots, compares later responses, and sends alerts. Features, limits, scan intervals, and history periods depend on the applicable Free, trial, or paid plan displayed by RankLatch.

RankLatch does not provide legal, security, financial, or professional SEO advice and does not guarantee search rankings, indexing, traffic, revenue, or uninterrupted detection.

02

Your authority and acceptable use

You may monitor only websites you own or are authorized to manage. You must not use RankLatch to probe private networks, evade access controls, overload a website, collect protected personal data, violate robots or site terms you are required to follow, or conduct unlawful surveillance. You are responsible for submitted URLs and for how you act on an alert.

03

Free, trials, billing, and cancellation

Free currently includes one monitored site, up to 10 pages, daily checks, and 14 days of history without a card. New accounts receive the displayed 14-day trial limits first; if no paid plan begins, the oldest site continues within Free limits and excess sites pause without immediate deletion. Paid plans renew automatically at the billing interval shown at checkout until canceled. Taxes may be added where required. You may cancel through the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and the account falls back to the then-current Free limits. Except where law requires otherwise, charges already incurred are non-refundable. Failed or overdue payments may pause monitoring until billing is resolved.

04

Availability and changes

We aim to run monitors on the stated cadence, but scans can be delayed or fail because of outages, bot protection, DNS, rate limits, a changed website, provider incidents, or maintenance. We may modify the service to improve reliability, security, or compliance and will give reasonable notice of material adverse changes when practical.

05

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. You should verify alerts before changing a production website and maintain your own backups. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of RankLatch will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages. Aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the fees you paid for RankLatch during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

06

Suspension and termination

You may stop using RankLatch at any time. We may suspend access for nonpayment, abuse, security risk, unlawful activity, or material violation of these terms. Where reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure. Provisions that by their nature should survive—payment, disclaimers, liability limits, and ownership—continue after termination.

Questions about these terms may be sent to legal@ranklatch.com.
